This study aims to find out the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in increasing the capacity of farming businesses in Tanjung Alam village, Kedurang District, South Bengkulu Regency. The research was carried out in April-July 2024, using a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Sampling was selected purposively for the sub-district, village and farmer levels, while respondents were taken by proportional random sampling of 30 people. The results of the study showed that the role of BUMDes in Tanjung Alam Village, Kedurang District, South Bengku Regency, is in the role of upstream activities in the medium category with a percentage of 69.73%, the role of on-farm in the medium level with a percentage of 59.58%, the role of downstream subsystems in the high category with a percentage of 94.70%, the role of supporting subsystems in the high category with a percentage of 74.66%, and the level of farmers' business capacity in the high category with a percentage of 81.44%. Thus, overall, the role of Tanjung Alam Village BUMDes is in the high category with a percentage of 76.02%.
