In Bandengan Village, Jepara District, livestock waste production is abundant, but its utilization is not optimal. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of utilization of livestock waste as an organic fertilizer among farmers in Bandengan Village and to design an empowerment model for farmers to utilize livestock waste as an organic fertilizer. This research was conducted from March 2024 to June 2024 in Bandengan Village, Jepara District, Jepara Regency, Central Java. The study adopts a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. Out of the total 254 members of the farmer groups in Bandengan Village, 193 members own livestock. Therefore, a sample of 10% from the population, resulting in 30 respondents being included as samples in this study. The level of utilization of organic fertilizer, as an indicator of livestock waste collection, is categorized as high. The level of utilization of organic fertilizer, as an indicator of livestock waste processing, is categorized as moderate. The utilization of organic fertilizer, as indicated by the application to rice plants, is classified as high. Thus, an empowerment pattern is needed to enhance the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of rice farmers in processing livestock waste into organic fertilizer and utilizing it in Bandari Village, Jepara District.
