Persepsi Petani Menerapkan Tanam Jajar Legowo 2:1 pada padi sawah di Desa Suka Rami Kecamatan Air Nipis Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan

Abstract

The research on the Perception of Farmers in implementing the 2:1 Jajar Legowo Planting System in Paddy Fields was held in Suka Rami Village, Air Nipis Subdistrict, South Bengkulu. The purpose of this research is to understand how farmers perceive the implementation of jajar legowo planting 2:1 in paddy fields (Oryza sativa L) in Suka Rami village, Air Nipis subdistrict, South Bengkulu. This research was conducted from August to March 2023, involving 45 respondents from 8 farmer groups, using a survey method. The research method is quantitative descriptive, and the data collection method involves observation, interviews, and questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis method uses descriptive analysis, employing a measuring scale, namely the Likert scale. The analysis results indicate that the level of farmers' Perception in implementing jajar legowo planting 2:1 consists of several variables, namely knowledge, with a known category percentage of 71.47%, and the attitude variable, with a Disagree category percentage of 50.80%. The need of variable with need category percentage 75,20%, encouragement variable with substantial category percentage 70,93% and the expectation variable with hope category percentage 76,53%. Based on the results of the study, extend the design to increase the Perception of farmers s attitude in doing system jajar legowo planting 2:1.
