Farmer Participation in Extension on Bio-Urine Liquid Organic Fertilizer for Rice Farmers in Batu Kuning Village, Ulu Manna District, South Bengkulu Regency

The purpose of this study is to determine the participation of farmers in providing information about Bio Urine liquid organic fertilizer to rice farmers in Batu Kuning Village, Ulu Manna District, South Bengkulu Regency, and to design an empowerment design that supports the implementation of the Bio Urine organic fertilization system. This research was carried out from January to June 2024. Rice in Batu Kuning Village, Ulu Manna District, South Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method using a questionnaire as the instrument used in the research. The sample used was 30 respondents. The results of the research show that farmer participation in providing Bio Urine liquid organic fertilizer to rice farmers in Batu Kuning Village, Ulu Manna District, South Bengkulu Regency, is in the high category (72.50%) this is due to several factors such as the average age of the farmers being young and it is still easy to implement and adopt new innovations, and farmers have high awareness regarding the sustainability of the ecosystem which must be maintained.
