The results of the research or analysis and discussion can be concluded. The average production obtained by farmers using superior seeds is 8,516.67 kg with an average price of Rp. 6,000 / kg, with the income obtained of Rp. 51,100,000.00. While the average production of farmers using local seeds is 6,346.67 kg with an average price per kilogram of Rp. 5,000, with an income of Rp. 31,733,333.33. Thus there is a difference in income of Rp. 19,366,666.67. The income received by farmers using superior seeds is Rp. 23,171,341.33, - and the income of farmers using local seeds is Rp. 4,774,053.33, -. The difference in income between farmers using superior and local seeds is Rp. 18,427,288. The feasibility of farmers using superior seeds is 1.82 where the farming is feasible to be attempted, while local seed farming has a feasibility value of 1.16, where the farming is also feasible to be attempted, so that the difference in feasibility in superior seed farming and local seeds with a value of 0.66, but superior seed farming is higher than local seeds. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out empowerment regarding "Superior Seed Farming in Ringkit Village, Kuranji District, Tanah Bumbu Regency". The results of empowerment regarding superior seed farming, the average pre-test score was 23.33 with a percentage of 74.83% and after counseling the average score became 25.44 with a percentage of 85.50%. Overall, the increase in farmer knowledge was 10.67%.
